A moving tale of suffering and selfless saviours.well presented -as issue based film and cinematically well made fill.I wondered what is the situation in my country India? I am in touch with NGOs working with women and I did not know much about this issue.Fistula is realy a 'silent' epidemic.not much is said about it. I saw it on Netflix on one of my visits to USA.I should have bought this film.but I made notes and I am writing about it in my language Marathi.I am going to add another film touching the same issue ' motherland Afganistan' to the piece.
Such films are eye openers for people who keep cribbing about there small worries,sitting under whatever roofs they have or in their cusshy rooms.Ethiopean women and the care givers at Fistula hospital are really brave.I will try to get the copy of this film.and show it to social workers in my city of Pune,India.
